The Do’s and Dont’s when using the Recreation Area and the Swimming Pool
When in the middle of a silly game of Noodle Joust, it’s easy for kids to lose sight of proper pool safety. That’s why it is so important to set rules for using the pool—not just for the children, but also for the adults.
Avoiding injury and other accidents in the swimming pool can be pretty easy with the right rules in place and observed. As long as you’re constantly reminding your kids of the importance of pool safety, and also supervising when they’re alone in the pool, then you can be sure our pool remains a place of fun, not danger.
Please observe and follow these rules at all times!
- Any person using the recreation area and the swimming pool is doing so at their own risk. The Body Corporate and Trustees are not responsible for any accidents or injuries.
- The Body Corporate and Trustees reserve the right to deny the use of the pool to any person transgressing these rules.
- Don’t leave the pool area open and unsecure whilst using it or thereafter.
- Don’t leave children below the age of 12 without adult supervision at the pool.
- When removing the pool cleaner always unplug it in the weir and reconnect when leaving the pool.
- Always be dressed in appropriate swimwear. Do not enter the pool in street clothing or undressed.
- Never dive into the pool in the shallow end.
- No pets are allowed in the recreation area or in the pool.
