Updated Conduct Rules
CSOS has approved the update our Conduct Rules, as was discussed and approved by the Body Corporate in a Special General Meeting on 7 May 2025.
The changes to the previous Conduct Rules published in September 2023, are the following:
Section 29: Exclusive Use Rule For Rooftop Solar Harvesting Installations
The distribution of solar panels fitted to a common roof section has been clearly aligned, with allowing equal roof space for every unit under the same roof. The graphs have been updated accordingly.
Section 30: Exclusive Use Areas: Granted per EUA Schedule 1
This section has been added new to the Conduct Rules.
This rule establishes the framework under which the Body Corporate grants exclusive use of designated common property areas- specifically, gardens, carports, garages, and entranceways — to certain unit owners. The provisions herein are adopted in accordance with Section 27 of the Sectional Titles Schemes Management Act, 2011 (Act No. 8 of 2011) and the directives issued by CSOS
